Terms of Use
These terms govern use of The Kitchen Geeks website and explain the limits of its editorial information, external links and commercial relationships.
Using the website
You may use The Kitchen Geeks for personal, lawful research into kitchen products and related ownership questions. You must not attempt to damage the site, bypass security, overload services, introduce malicious code, scrape at a rate that disrupts access or use the publication to mislead another person. Access may be limited when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or legal compliance.
The site may change, pause or remove content without guaranteeing continuous availability. A published URL does not create a promise that a guide, image, comment route or retailer link will remain available forever. We may correct errors, restructure categories and update recommendations as evidence changes.
Editorial information, not professional advice
The content provides general buying and ownership information. It is not electrical, legal, medical, financial, engineering or food-safety advice for an individual situation. A guide cannot inspect your wiring, hob, ventilation, allergies, physical ability, local rules or the exact condition of a product. Follow official guidance, the product manual and qualified professional advice where the risk requires it.
Safety information is written cautiously, but product instructions can differ by model and market. Do not use a general article to override a stated temperature limit, installation rule, cleaning restriction, food-contact warning or electrical requirement. Stop using damaged equipment and seek appropriate help when a defect may create risk.
Accuracy and changing information
We work to make articles accurate at publication and to correct material errors. Product specifications, availability, prices, warranties, return policies and manuals can change. Retailers may combine reviews from different versions or use a familiar name for a revised model. Confirm the exact model number and current terms before relying on a buying decision.
No statement guarantees that a product will suit every reader or remain available. Editorial phrases such as useful, easier or better value describe the stated decision criteria, not a universal performance promise. Where evidence is incomplete, the article may explain the uncertainty or recommend further checks.
External and affiliate links
The site links to retailers, manufacturers, official guidance and other external resources. A link does not place the destination under our control or guarantee its accuracy, security, availability or conduct. You are responsible for reviewing the seller, product, price, delivery, returns, warranty and privacy terms before completing a transaction.
Some links may be affiliate links that can generate commission after a qualifying purchase. The Affiliate Disclosure explains how this works. The Kitchen Geeks is not the seller or payment processor and is not a party to the retail contract merely because an affiliate link was used.
Intellectual property and permitted sharing
Unless a separate credit or licence says otherwise, the site design, original text, logo and original graphics belong to The Kitchen Geeks or its licensors. You may quote a short passage for commentary, review or private reference when the use is lawful, limited and accompanied by a clear link to the source page. You may not republish complete articles, remove attribution, sell copies or train a commercial content system on the publication without permission where the law requires it.
Third-party images, trademarks and quoted material remain subject to their owners' rights and any stated open licence. The Image Credits page records source information for openly licensed material where relevant. A brand name is used to identify a product or source and does not imply endorsement of the site.
Reader messages and supplied material
If you send a correction, product document or other material, you confirm that you may share it and that doing so does not require us to publish it. You retain ownership of your original material, while granting us permission to review, store and use it as needed to answer the message or make an editorial correction. Do not send confidential information or content that infringes another person's rights.
Liability limits
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, the site is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or suitability for a particular purpose. The Kitchen Geeks is not responsible for a retailer's product, delivery, account security, refund decision, warranty service or external website. Readers remain responsible for checking fit, safety requirements and current purchase terms.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of general editorial information, an unavailable link or a decision made without checking product-specific instructions. These limits do not reduce any rights you have against a retailer, manufacturer or service provider under applicable consumer law.
Changes, governing context and contact
We may update these terms when the site, law or commercial arrangements change. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply to later activity, while earlier rights and obligations remain governed by the version and law applicable at that time. If part of the terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue as far as the law allows.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@thekitchengeeks.co.uk. Include the relevant page and a clear description of the issue. Nothing in these terms prevents a reader from using statutory consumer rights or contacting an appropriate regulator or dispute-resolution service.
